Made this portrait from imagination based on two tutorials by @Robotpencil “Character portrait demo” and “Process: Greyscale to Color”. I feel like learned a lot!
Two birdpeople/wereraven-type characters. When deciding what sort of weapon the raven-like creature should have I realized that the obvious choice was the bec de corbin- the raven’s beak.
When printing my own paper minis I often notice that much of the detail gets lost due to the small size. So lately I have been trying out using bolder ink work and even simpler colors and it really makes the minis more readable on the tabletop. Here are some ancient skeleton warriors ready to ambush unsuspecting adventurers.
This year’s Inktober is going poorly for me but I have not given up completely yet!
First day of inktober! I am planning to do some traditional inking and some, like this one, digital. I’m using an Intuos and I feel I need to practice digital inking so this is a good opportunity to challenge myself!
